Hi, I'm Viva. I'm the office manager here at Dr. Carta's Office. I started working as a filing clerk about 20 years ago and slowly worked myself up the ladder. I was a receptionist and now I am in charge of any and all things office related-insurance, you name it! In my spare time, I love spending time with my two wonderful children and husband. I love to walk and I LOVE baking! My main objective every day at the office is to see patients leave with a smile on their face, and provide everyone with exceptional customer service.

Hi, my name is Bene. I am Dr. Carta's dental assistant. I graduated from Porter and Chester, from Dental Assisting program in 2010. While completing my internship at Dr. Carta's office working part time for a about a year, I had left and then returned for full time after 8 years of being gone. I became a certified Dental Assistant by the Dental Assistant National Board. I speak fluent French. In my free time i enjoy reading and spending time with my family!
My name is Amanda and I am one of the newest members to Dr. Carta's amazing team. I have worked in the dental field for over 4 years and love interacting with patients in the clinical setting. As a Storrs native, I attended the University of Connecticut for Nutritional Sciences and Sports Nutrition. I began a career in personal training and competed in fitness shows until I blew out my knee in a sport related accident. I decided to go back to school for medical assisting and ultimately ended up as a dental assistant. Still working as a trainer, I dedicate my time to both careers, enjoying improving peoples health and smiles everyday! In my free time, I love hiking with my dog and spending time with friends and family!
My name is Marianne. I have been a part of Dr. Carta's team for twenty five years. I received my Dental Hygiene degree from Tunxis Community College in 1983. Attending frequent continuing education courses in various dental disciplines has kept me up to date with research, new treatment options, techniques and new products I am CPR certified as well. I take pride in delivering quality patient care and helping patients to achieve and maintain oral health. it gives me great satisfaction to make patients feel at ease and comfortable during treatment. I enjoy working in a family practice and interacting with patients of all ages. When I am not at work, I love going biking, skiing and baking! As I grew up in Germany, I speak German fluently.
Hi, my name is Kasia. I graduated from Tunxis Community College in 2002 with a degree in Dental Hygiene, and I have been working for Dr. Carta ever since. In 2006, I received certification to administer Local Anesthesia. I am an Arestin-certified expert, as well as CPR-certified. I speak fluently in Polish, and can communicate in Russian as well. If you want a whiter smile, I am the 'Zoom-whitening technician' here in the office, and enjoy seeing the great results that patients can get. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and spending time with my family.

After eight years, I decided to further my dental knowledge and began the steps required toward becoming a dental hygienist. I graduated from Tunxis Community College with a Dental Hygiene degree in 2005. I received my local anesthesia administration certification in 2006 at University of New Haven. I also have a degree in Medical Office Administration with a certificate in Medical Coding. I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in Public Health in hopes to become a hygiene instructor in the future. I joined Dr. Carta's team in November 2005, and continue my commitment to expertise in dental hygiene treatment and excellence in outstanding patient care. It gives me great satisfaction to make patients feel at ease and comfortable during their treatments. I feel laughter is always the key to a great dental appointment. If you don't laugh once, I haven't done my job. I am an Arestin-certified expert, and volunteer at the Special Olympics every year since 2003. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family!
My name is Eliana. I am a dental hygienist at Dr. Carta's office and have been here since 2015. In 2011, I graduated form Tunxis Community College with a Bachelor's Degree in History. I also specialize in pediatrics. In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, spending time with my children, but most importantly I am a movie buff!
Hi, my name is Donna. I am fairly new to Dr. Carta's team! I graduated from Seymour High School, and then continued my education at Stone's School of Business. I am CPR certified and have taken some continuing education courses to help both myself and the patients we serve. At work, I enjoy greeting the patients with a smile and getting to know them as people. When I am not working, I enjoy anything to do with nature and animals! I have done many years of volunteer animal rescue work, which is very rewarding. I love spending time with my dog and kitties.

My name is Macie. I am also one of the newest members of Dr. Carta's team as a receptionist. I am in charge of all social media aspects within the office! I graduated from Manchester Community College in May of 2018, with an Associate of Science degree in Business Office Technology. I also have a background in Medical Coding. In my free time outside of work, I love to go golfing, spend time with my family, friends (as well as my dog), cooking and going on hikes! I don't just start every day with a coffee, but also a feel good goal to make others laugh and smile!
