Hi, I'm Viva. I'm the office manager here at Dr. Carta's Office. I started working as a filing clerk about 20 years ago and slowly worked myself up the ladder. I was a receptionist and now I am in charge of any and all things office related-insurance, you name it! In my spare time, I love spending time with my two wonderful children and husband. I love to walk and I LOVE baking! My main objective every day at the office is to see patients leave with a smile on their face, and provide everyone with exceptional customer service.
My name is Marianne. I have been a part of Dr. Carta's team for twenty five years. I received my Dental Hygiene degree from Tunxis Community College in 1983. Attending frequent continuing education courses in various dental disciplines has kept me up to date with research, new treatment options, techniques and new products I am CPR certified as well. I take pride in delivering quality patient care and helping patients to achieve and maintain oral health. it gives me great satisfaction to make patients feel at ease and comfortable during treatment. I enjoy working in a family practice and interacting with patients of all ages. When I am not at work, I love going biking, skiing and baking! As I grew up in Germany, I speak German fluently.
Hi, my name is Kasia. I graduated from Tunxis Community College in 2002 with a degree in Dental Hygiene, and I have been working for Dr. Carta ever since. In 2006, I received certification to administer Local Anesthesia. I am CPR-certified. I speak fluently in Polish, and can communicate in Russian as well. If you want a whiter smile, I am the 'Zoom-whitening technician' here in the office, and enjoy seeing the great results that patients can get. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and spending time with my family.
Hi, my name is Amy. I began my career in 1997, working full time as a dental assistant while achieving my CDA certification. After eight years, I decided to further my dental knowledge and began the steps required toward becoming a dental hygienist. I graduated from Tunxis Community College with a Dental Hygiene degree in 2005. I received my local anesthesia administration certification in 2006 at University of New Haven. I also have a degree in Medical Office Administration with a certificate in Medical Coding. I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in Public Health in hopes to become a hygiene instructor in the future. I joined Dr. Carta's team in November 2005, and continue my commitment to expertise in dental hygiene treatment and excellence in outstanding patient care. It gives me great satisfaction to make patients feel at ease and comfortable during their treatments. I feel laughter is always the key to a great dental appointment. If you don't laugh once, I haven't done my job. I volunteer at the Special Olympics every year since 2003. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family!
My name is Eliana. I am a dental hygienist at Dr. Carta's office and have been here since 2015. In 2011, I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor's Degree in History. I also specialize in pediatrics. In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, spending time with my children, but most importantly I am a movie buff!
Hi, my name is Donna. I am fairly new to Dr. Carta's team! I graduated from Seymour High School, and then continued my education at Stone's School of Business. I am CPR certified and have taken some continuing education courses to help both myself and the patients we serve. At work, I enjoy greeting the patients with a smile and getting to know them as people. When I am not working, I enjoy anything to do with nature and animals! I look forward to our family reunion every year, because we all live in different states. I have done many years of volunteer animal rescue work, which is very rewarding. I love spending time with my dog and kitties.
